These rigs can be taken apart, carried in sections to the drilling site and rebuilt there, so they reach places conventional machines cannot. They suit jungles, mountains, forests, hilly and remote areas without harming the environment.
Example: a 1000 metre geothermal borehole at Manuguru for GSI, with water temperature above 80°C.
